DESCRIPTION:The Assiniboine Community College Foundation Legacy Gala Dinner\n\nis an annual event that raises money in support of our students.\n-SOLD OUT-\n\n\n\nSet against the backdrop of our stunning Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts heritage building\, guests\n\nare treated to an exclusive multi-course menu with wine pairings at each course. Our Culinary Arts\,\n\nBaking Foundations and Hotel & Restaurant Management students work together to make this evening\n\nan unforgettable event. Also included\, complimentary in-town car service\, provided by our polished\n\nPublic Safety students.\n\n\n\nThis year's proceeds will support financial awards for Black students enrolled across Assiniboine programs. Black Manitobans have historically\, and presently contributed their knowledge\, skills\, and experiences in trades\, technology\, business\, finance\, politics\, health and human services and are part of Manitoba's growing work-force.\n\nTo date\, no scholarship nor awards are currently available for Black Manitoban students.\n\n\n\nFast Facts:\n\n  There has been over 57% growth in Manitoba's Black population in five years\n\n  There has been over 132% growth in Southwest Manitoba's Black population in five years\n\n  There has been 97% growth in Brandon's Black population in four years\n\n\n\nThe 2023 Legacy Gala is your opportunity to support Black Manitoban students who have chosen\n\ncollege career programs at Assiniboine and have made Manitoba their home.
