DESCRIPTION:We are again putting on a Downtown Spring Cleanup Day.  Hoping you can help spread the word to your membership\, or contacts (poster attached). \n\n \n\nOrganizations can feel free to contact us if they want to setup a table to promote their programs at the event.  Or gather up some co-workers or friends and register a team.  Individuals are also welcome! \n\n \n\nIt is now a great community event where those in government\, the business community\, non-profits\, and community members from all demographics can come together and show some love for our downtown by doing litter pickup after the spring melt. Last year we had a whopping 88 participants\, hoping to get even more to turn out this year!  \n\n\n\nDate: Wednesday\, May 7th between 1:00-3:00 p.m.\n\nWhere:  Princess Park (starting point)\n\nDetails:  \n\n\n	Volunteers provided with safety vests\, gloves\, garbage bags\, garbage pickers\, sharps container\n	When people arrive\, they will be assigned a specific area to clean with a map.  \n	Training provided for sharps disposal\n	Registration encouraged but not required\n	Refreshments provided \n	Prizes for:\n	\n		Best/most fun dressed team\n		Most garbage collected (submit pictures)\n		Best picture (can be of their team\, something cool downtown\, before & after picture)
