SUMMARY:Phinney Legacy Fund: 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Phinney Legacy Fund\n\n4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament \n\n\n\nThe Phinney Legacy Fund is a not-for-profit organization formed to advocate for mental wellness in the construction industry. Phinney's Legacy is in memory of Scott Phinney\, long time construction tradesman who lost his life to suicide in 2019. Scott was a brother and friend\, and our goal is to provide benevolence and assistance to construction workers and construction companies that cannot access benefits to offset medication\, and/ or counselling costs. \n\n\n\nIn 2020\, the Centre for Disease (CDC) found that men working in construction have one of the highest suicide rates compared to other industries. And in 2021\, the CDC reported that male construction workers have a 65% higher suicide rate than all workers. \n\n\n\nWe hope you'll join us for the 4th Annual Phinney Legacy Tournament on Friday\, September 13\, 2024 at Deer Ridge Golf Course. \n\n\n\nTo register\, and for more information\, please contact: phinneyslegacy@gmail.com
