Now is the ideal time to build your intercultural awareness and broaden your perspective as a global citizen. \n\nJoin Meghan Miller\, graduate of Royal Roads University's Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication\, for this one hour session where she will describe her research related to immigrant newcomer integration and belonging in Brandon\, Manitoba.\n\n\n\nThrough participation in this workshop\, participants will broaden their understanding of the immigrant newcomer experience and the value of diversity in our community. Expect to leave with a fresh perspective and tangible strategies to be a leader in multicultural community building.\n\n \n\nNovember 16\, 2021 - 12:00PM to 1:00PM\n\nEffective Meetings with Heather Ewasiuk\n\nWell-organized meetings with predefined roles and responsibilities save time and resources\, and aid in achieving desired business results.\n\n\n\nJoin ACC instructor Heather Ewasiuk in covering essential topics such as meeting formats\, decision-making processes\, roles\, and conflict at meetings\n\n \n\nJanuary 11\, 2022 - 12:00PM to 1:00PM\n\nSocial Media for Small Business with Liz Pittman\n\nIn this one hour virtual lunch and learn\, ACC instructor Liz Pittman will explain how to start a social media strategy\, discuss the difference between organic and paid social media\, chat about influencer marketing\, and share why a content calendar is an important tool when using social media for your business\n\n \n\nFebruary 15\, 2022 - 12:00PM to 1:00PM\n\nBuilding Relationships with Michelle Budiwski\n\nAll interactions between businesses and people rely on relationships\, in order to cultivate positive long lasting relationships we need to concentrate on building trust. If people cannot trust what we say and what we do there is no marketing or human resource strategy that will overcome it.\n\n\n\nJoin ACC instructor and serial entrepreneur\, Michelle Budiwski on discovering how do we build trust by starting with our organization and ourselves to understand our purpose\, our why.\n\n\n\nWhy are we in business? Why do we do what we do? And then ask the tough question... is what I say and what I do personally and professionally reflective of that purpose? Am I communicating it to my people - my employees and my customers so that they know not just what we do but why we do it?
