SUMMARY:YWCA Keeping Spirits Bright
DESCRIPTION:With the announcement of the recent tightening of restrictions in our province\, this has forced fitness and recreation facilities to have to close their doors leaving many without their regular mental and physical outlets. As many are aware this creates even more mental and physical stress on people. The YWCA fully understands the importance of mental wellbeing and keeping your mind and body healthy which is why we have created the Virtual Run/Walk for our Fusion Credit Union Keeping Spirits Bright Campaign. This campaign can be done as a 2\,5\,10k or even a monthly accumulative challenge. This can be done individually\, with your family\, teams\, coworkers etc. or you can support one of our local schools taking part in the challenge.\n\n \n\nThis is a great way for those who might be working from home to set a goal/challenge of taking care of their mental and physical wellbeing while supporting those most vulnerable in our community.\n\n \n\nOn December 1st\, YWCA Brandon will be kicking off our 5th annual Fusion Credit Union Keeping Spirits Bright Campaign to run until December 31st\, 2020.\n\n \n\nEach registered walker/runner will keep track of the number of km walked using an app like map mywalk/run strava etc\, and the person with the most KM's walked by December 31st will win top prize.\n\n \n\nYou can find more information at the following:\n\n \n\nhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/ksbvirtualrun2020\n\n \n\nor register/donate at\n\n \n\nhttps://www.ywcabrandon.ca/events - while you are there pick up your weekly $2 - 50/50 ticket!\n\n \n\nThank you in advance for your support and participation!
