Climate change is no longer a future concern - it's a business reality. Recent flooding and extreme weather across Brandon and Westman have disrupted businesses, impacted our agricultural sector and highlighted the growing need for organizations to prepare for a changing climate.
Join us as we kick off the new season with a timely keynote address that explores how businesses can better understand climate-related risks, strengthen resilience and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Emilia Cameron, Manager of Climate Resilient Communities with the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR), will share practical, evidence-based strategies to help businesses adapt to an increasingly unpredictable environment. Drawing on national research and real-world examples, Emilia will explore the risks facing Manitoba businesses and the actions organizations can take to protect their operations, people and long-term success.
Whether you're a business owner, agricultural producer, municipal leader or community partner, you'll leave with practical insights to help your organization become more resilient.
Don't wait for the next disaster to start planning. Join us for this important conversation and discover how your business can prepare for the future.
