Based at ICLR's Resilience Display Centre in Winnipeg, she works with governments, insurers, businesses and communities to develop practical strategies that reduce the impacts of extreme weather and climate change.

With a background in geography, Emilia specializes in translating climate research into real-world solutions. She has presented ICLR's resilience work to leaders across Canada, including at the British Columbia Legislature, helping policymakers and stakeholders better understand how communities can prepare for increasing climate risks.
