Dealing with Difficult People - Julia Senchuk
Why are people so difficult? What are the dynamics that lead to a ?difficult personality?? What are the different types of difficult people? This workshop looks at how to deal with difficult people effectively.
Julia is a licensed Psychotherapist who has been offering counselling services to the Westman area for approximately 20 years.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 (Brandon University), and went on to obtain her Master of Counselling Psychology in 1998 (University of North Dakota).
In addition to her private practice, Julia teaches within the Psychology Department at Brandon University and has been offering educational mental health and wellness workshops within the Westman area since 2011, when she began her own private practice JK Senchuk Counselling.
A Roadmap to Navigating Change - Faye Miron
Managing change is about realizing business results by helping people navigate the road between a current state and a future state ? in their minds, belief systems, processes and ultimately behaviours. Business leaders who actively plan for and manage change with their teams experience less disruptions to workflow, lower productivity dips and faster implementation and adoption of changes by their team members.
This session will focus on providing a proven and practical approach to managing change.
Faye has collaborated with and led multi-disciplinary teams through Lean process re-design as well as human resource, information technology and performance improvement initiatives in service delivery, healthcare and manufacturing environments. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Organization and People Performance.

Ken Schneider, MNP
Ken Schneider is MNP’s Human Capital Advisor for the Southern Manitoba region, working out of the Brandon office. He is a Human Capital professional and leader with 35 years of experience.
Ken’s experience spans into several functional areas as an HR Generalist, including Recruitment and Retention, Onboarding, Terminations, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Employee Benefits, Conflict Resolution, Learning & Development and Performance Management.
Greg Gingras, Sobeys
Greg has served for 22 years in the Grocery business. He began working for Canada Safeway in Winnipeg and progressed through a number of positions with the company; working large and small format stores in Winnipeg, Dauphin, Dryden, Steinbach and Brandon. With the purchase of Canada Safeway by the Empire Company (Sobeys) in 2014, an opportunity arose to purchase one of two franchise Sobeys locations in Brandon in 2015.
Karla Dane, Meighen Haddad LLP
Karla is a partner with Meighen Haddad LLP. She has a general practice with a focus on Real Estate (residential and agricultural), Estates and Estate Planning and Corporate/Commercial Law. Karla also practices in the area of Family Law which includes preparing Cohabitation/Pre-Nuptial Agreements, negotiated Separation Agreements and Divorce matters.
