Dennis Hunt & Associates IG Private Wealth Management

Tara was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, and has been a Consultant with IG Wealth Management since 2014. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. Her main goal is to ensure all clients have an accurate and detailed financial plan tailored to them, which will give them the confidence they need to make their retirement and estate plans. 

Tara is an Assiniboine Community College alumnus with a business diploma specializing in accounting. She also holds her Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation. Her expertise in pension options and sources of retirement income helps clients understand what is available to them and ensures they feel confident about their retirement decisions. 

Dennis has worked with IG Wealth Management since 1984, helping families in Western Manitoba and across Canada achieve their financial goals by providing holistic financial planning and customized strategies to build and retain wealth. 

Dennis is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and always ensures he can assist clients with their financial planning needs and to gain clarity on their financial solutions. In particular, Dennis specializes in working with farmers, seniors, and business owners. In 2010, he received the Herbert H. Carnegie Award for exceptional long-term community service.

Along with the CFP designation, Dennis holds a University degree from Brandon University, as well as the Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) and Registered Retirement Counselor (RRC) designations.

Jonathan was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba and has been a Consultant with IG Wealth Management since 2018. He is a Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) , Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) & a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) who found his passion in helping solve financial problems for people early in life. 

His approach is built on a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs, allowing him to deliver customized solutions that foster financial growth and security.

With a focus on building long-term relationships, Jonathan works closely with clients to simplify the complexities of wealth management. He combines investment expertise with a passion for helping clients navigate the financial landscape, ensuring they are well-prepared for every stage of their financial journey—from growth and preservation to succession planning.
