WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VAN

VDK Delivery and Rideshares is proud to announce the expansion of our fleet with the addition of a wheelchair-accessible van, effective February 1, 2026. This enhancement reflects our continued commitment to providing inclusive, reliable, and affordable transportation options for wheelchair users throughout the Province of Manitoba.

Our wheelchair-accessible transportation service offers safe and reliable travel across Manitoba. Enjoy a flat rate of $260.00 plus GST for same-day roundtrip transportation from Brandon to Winnipeg. For trips to other cities and communities throughout the province, we provide service at an affordable rate of $1.00 per kilometre.

We proudly serve all major Manitoba locations, including Brandon, Dauphin, Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, Winkler, and beyond — ensuring accessibility and comfort wherever your destination may be.

Our flat rate includes:

• Accommodation for up to 2 passengers per booking, allowing the client and either a family member or a health care aide to attend their appointment, event, or flight.

• An option to add additional passengers (for example, a partner or child along with a health care aide) at a cost of $20.00 per person plus GST.

• Pick-up at a specified address within Brandon and drop-off at any location within the City of Winnipeg.

• Up to 3 total stops (e.g., medical appointment, food, and prescription pick-up).

• Up to 3 hours of wait time.

• Assistance entering and exiting the vehicle, with pick-up and drop-off provided inside the building whenever possible.

BOOKING:
All wheelchair-accessible vehicle bookings must be reserved in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to the high demand for a wheelchair-accessible van, cancellations are non-refundable. If you are being billed directly, the full rate will be charged in the event of a cancellation. Clients are kindly requested to provide as much advance notice as possible when cancelling, so that the appointment time may be offered to another client in need of transportation.
