Youth Retention is a pressing issue across Manitoba as employers, municipalities and educators work to attract, retain and engage the next generation of talent. At this luncheon, we welcome Mark Frison, president of Assiniboine College, for an insightful discussion on how education, workforce development and community leadership intersect to shape long-term economic growth.

Soon to become Canada’s longest-serving college or university president, Mark has led Assiniboine College for more than 15 years, following presidential roles at Cypress Hills College and Great Plains College in Saskatchewan. His career also includes senior economic development work in Nova Scotia and extensive community leadership across Manitoba.



Mark will deliver a forward-looking keynote exploring strategies to strengthen youth retention, align education with labour market needs, and create communities where young people choose to build their futures.
