Sneaking into the dressing room of the performer, the young woman, the bold Nellie McClung, is determined to meet this incredible woman, but tonight she has definitely met her match in the incomparable E. Pauline Johnson.

In A Stage of Her Own, playwright Steven Elliott Jackson, imagines a post performance conversation between two iconic Canadian women, whose mark on this country exists even today. The playwright and the show's director, will discuss how these characters were brought to life on the page, and on the stage, as well as the challenges of writing historical drama.
