Salary: $34.58 to $54.25 hourly
(Educational supplement: Masters $1.60/hour, PHD $3.19/hour)

The Centre of Continuing Studies is looking to hire instructors to teach in our Aviation Management Certificate program. In this program students take courses with industry-specific content alongside their flight school training. Currently, we have part-time positions available to teach Airline Management and Personal & Business Ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in classroom, laboratory or shop settings, and provide academic assistance.
- Develop and modify course objectives, course outlines, curricula and evaluation procedures.
- Maintain all course-related records including evaluations and attendance and submit required information.
- Prepare and organize course materials and learning resources.
- Share passion and knowledge of the nursing profession with students.
- Apply enthusiasm to classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties.
- Share passion and knowledge of the Aviation Management field with students in the program.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for someone who loves to communicate, wants to share their knowledge and is committed to creating exceptional learning experiences for our students.
- Relevant post-secondary education and significant industry experience
- Experience teaching in an adult environment is highly desirable
- Experience teaching (theory, lab, and clinical) and experience using Moodle an asset.
- Appropriate nursing credential and other relevant post-secondary education.
- Solid understanding of program and curriculum development, Indigenization and decolonization of curriculum, classroom instruction, assessment and evaluation, student advising and group facilitation.
- Well-developed technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Word,
- Highly developed communication skills, strong organizational skills
