Overview

JCJ Residential Services is a locally owned residential services company in Brandon, MB, known for quality workmanship and a strong team culture. We are seeking a Red Seal Carpenter or skilled multi-trade technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is interested in long-term growth within a small, hands-on company.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of residential work, including carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, doors and windows, and renovations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential work across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, doors & windows)

• Follow written scopes of work and contribute to job planning

• Take ownership of projects from start to finish

• Support and lead labourers when required

• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites

• Communicate clearly with homeowners, team members, and leadership

• Track progress, materials, and time using job management tools

• Deliver high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail
   

Qualifications

• Red Seal Carpenter certification (preferred)

• Experience in residential construction or renovations

• Strength in at least one trade area (finish carpentry, drywall, painting, doors/windows, bathroom remodels)

• Willingness to learn additional trades

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism

• Interest in leadership and project coordination

• Class 5 Driver’s License

• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
