Reesor’s Jewellery is a locally owned and operated, independent jewellery store in Brandon, MB. We have been in operation since 1882. We provide quality service and products to our customers and believe education is vital. At Reesor’s, we are a team, and team members are encouraged to achieve both store and individual goals. We have an opening for a Part-time to Full-time Sales Associate.

The successful applicant should have sales and customer service experience, be self-motivated, positive, have a team-oriented attitude, and possess great listening and communication skills. Proficiency in operating a computer is vital since we use it for almost everything. A good work ethic, desire to learn, willingness to help and be part of a team are important qualities.

Previous sales/customer service experience is preferred. Training is provided and is on-going, as the jewellery industry is continually evolving.

Besides sales, you’ll also learn how to take in and handle repairs, change watch batteries, adjust watch bracelets, and change a clasp on a chain, learn about the products we and our suppliers carry, learn the properties of gold and diamonds, learn different styles of chains, special order items for a customer, among other duties.

This position is part-time to full-time (12-32) hours per week, depending on the time of year. A variety of evening (12 - 8 pm during the week) and weekend shifts are involved. We follow the Shoppers Mall hours, Mon – Fri 10am - 8pm, Sat 10am – 7pm, and Sunday 11am – 6pm.

We offer an hourly wage plus commission, and several other bonuses (like your birthday off with pay!) upon successful completion of the probation period. There are opportunities to further your jewellery education as well.
