Territory Sales Representative
Job Summary
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for the promotion and sales of truck accessories within an assigned region. The role involves face-to-face interaction with both potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions with our range of products.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service. The role involves a deep understanding of truck customization custom parts, enhancements, and functional add-ons.
Key Responsibilities
· Travel within the assigned territory to meet with prospective and current customers.
· Present, promote, and sell truck accessories using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
· Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
· Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and scheduled visits.
· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
· Process customer sales using the established inventory management system.
· Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes.
· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
· Analyze sales data to understand customer behavior and identify opportunities for growth.
· Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
· Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the truck accessories market.
Qualifications
· Proven work experience as an outside sales representative, preferably in the truck accessories or automotive parts industry.
· Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
· Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
· Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
· Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Education / Experience
· Ten plus years of outside sales experience, preferably in the truck accessories or automotive parts industry.
· High school diploma or equivalent; BS/BA degree or equivalent is a plus.
This role is pivotal in driving the success of the company's outside sales and requires a dynamic individual who can navigate this channel effectively. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision and practical execution to the table, ensuring that the company is able to meet their sales objectives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
