We’re Hiring: Truck and Trailer Transport Mechanic

We’re looking for a Truck and Trailer Transport Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair our fleet of trucks and trailers. This hands-on role ensures our transport equipment runs safely and efficiently—keeping our operations on the road and on schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintenance & Repairs

Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, brake servicing, and tire replacement

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues

Rebuild or replace major components like engines, transmissions, and drivetrains
Inspections & Emergency Support

Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Provide emergency roadside repairs when required

Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper function and roadworthiness
Inventory, Documentation & Compliance

Track and maintain parts inventory and help with parts ordering when directed

Document all repairs, inspections, and time worked

Stay up to date with transportation and safety regulations (e.g. DOT, emissions, MPVIC standards)
What We’re Looking For

Journeyman Truck and Transport Mechanic certification or equivalent
-
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 with Air Endorsement preferred)
-
MPVIC safety certification (preferred)
-
3–5 years of truck/trailer repair experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

Proficiency in technical manuals and schematics
-
Able to lift heavy components and work in all weather conditions

Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends or on-call as needed
