ControValve proudly serve a diverse range of industries, including chemical processing, food manufacturing, pulp and paper, oil refining, power generation, mining, and pipeline operations. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the company’s business in the territory for safety relief valves, control valves, instrumentation and valve repair services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Manage the inside and outside sales teams and guide them to meet the company’s sales targets and the expectations of the manufacturers that are represented in the territory.
  • Develop the annual sales plan for the territory and work with the sales representatives on its implementation.
  • Develop strong relationships with the major industrial accounts across the territory
  • Develop opportunities to quote products and services to the major accounts and drive these quotations to successful sales orders
  • Manage shop activities including the preparation of quotations, staffing, workload planning and inventory control
  • Be fully trained on the application of all the company’s and/or supplier’s CRM & ERP tools for lead management, quotations, sales order entry, purchasing and workflow.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Diploma from a technical college in instrumentation or a related technical subject, or a university degree in a scientific or commercial field of study.
  • Several years’ experience in sales development, preferably in an industrial environment. 
  • Experience working in an Industrial company or a sales organization providing products and service to process industries.
  • Ability to develop a sales strategy to identify opportunities and close sales contracts.
  • A basic understanding of the major manufacturing/process industries in the region and how they operate.
