CHS is seeking a Half-Time Grade 6-7 teacher who loves Jesus, upholds the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, and models a vibrant daily walk with Christ. The ideal candidate is an active member of a like-minded local church, aligns with the CHS Statement of Faith, and demonstrates Christlike character in attitude, speech, and conduct.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and teaching core subjects with differentiated instruction
• Creating a positive, safe, well-organized classroom
• Assessing progress, maintaining records, and communicating with parents
• Collaborating with staff and participating in school-wide events
• Attending staff and prayer meetings; supervising recess on rotation
• Engaging in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Commitment to partnering with parents in their child’s education
• Professional judgment, reliability, and a role-model standard of appearance consistent with school policy
